Doctor Who: Series 4, Episode 13: Journey's End (Spoilers)

New postby Raven Kai » Sat Jul 05, 2008 10:21 pm

First off let me say, Whew.

There's a lot of fast talking in this one. I need to watch it a few more times.

My heart, while bent and abused, is not completely broken. I have mixed feelings. Can't wait for someone to see it so we can talk it over.

I cried for days. For weeks... Heck, I still cry when I think about it. I get really upset about Donna and then I wonder how the Rose situation turned out... and Poor poor Doctor. So very alone.

Doctor Donna. As soon as i was done I got online to look up stuff for series 5. It's a few years away, but rumor is Jenny will be his companion, atleast for a little while. And considering how much I fell in love with her, and how the Doctor finally accepted her, i'll accept that.
I still have The Doctor's Daughter saved on my HDD DVD recorder, even though it's eating up 12 hours of space.

If you weren't already getting one I'd recommend it. After cyclone Larry killed both my DVD player and VCR I decided to cough up the decent cash and get a DVD recorder. 2 and a half years later and she's still the best. Especially since i hooked her up to my computer.

Was that sarcasm? lol.

If not: Anything over a GeForce 2* can plug into a TV with varying degree. I've got..uh.. GeForce 7600's I think, so using the cabling that came with it and a S-cable I have my computer connected to my HDD DVD and my HDD DVD to my tv (effectively doubling the reach)
I much prefer to use my Computers DVD player. Power DVD is much more fun and easy to use then a remote control.

Sheeessshhhh... I am soooo low tech.
But yeah, the Doctor is so lonely and Donna is such a classic tragic character. Missed out on love in the library then missed out on everything.

I can't help but identify with Donna. I feel like her or see myself in her quite a bit.

I think you are closest to the companion Nyssa, though you are more resourceful, Raven. :)

If you get the chance Raven, I do highly recommend the "Keeper of Trarken" episode. It introduces her character and has the Master in it. And he's all gross and stuff!

Aaron, you're confusing me. :?
