Oooh, you beat me to it! I was going to start this thread today. :D

Yes, I have seen the first two episodes and it's actually quite promissing. I'm pleased so far. They did not try to get some Linda Hamilton look-alike. Instead, they found a talented actress and distanced themselves from the comparisons from the get go because she doesn't look ANYTHING like her. It seems well writen and has had some BRILLIANTLY FUNNY scenes with Summer Glau (River from Firefly) and she honestly doesn't even have to speak to make you laugh! She is totally stealing and making the show, IMHO. During the first part of the pilot, I found myself wondering how they were going to turn it into a weekly series because there wasn't much to go on, just running from terminators, but a plot twist in the final moments of part 1 changed everything. It was like a light went on. We even had some paradox discussion after the show and everyone seemed equally impressed and hopeful.

I LOVE SUMMER GLAU!!! She is just so awsome! If you have a chance to see it, this is a must see!

I like the show. I was sooooo bumbed out when i realized it wasn't on this week... I made my brother leave the living room and everything, then went to watch it, then when this movie of the week came on, I instantly remembered Raven telling me it wasn't on for another week... Well that can tell ya' how into the series I am, lol.
Geek: slang term, noting individuals as "a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc." Formerly, the term referred to a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken, bat, snake or bugs. The 1976 edition of the American Heritage Dictionary included only the definition regarding geek shows.

Yes! I have heard about it, watched it and have been saving pics for Season 2. I attended the panel at San Diego Comic Con. As mentioned before, my camcorder broke when I got home so NONE of my video is available until I can get a new camera (and I'm out of work right now so I have no idea how long that will be) BUT I did have my audio recorder running through most of the program. Unfortunately, the battery died and I only caught half of it on audio. You can find it here:

http://ravenkai.com/hosted/downloads/Ub ... ek/SCC.MP3
(right click and 'save as' if you want to download it)

Also check out my commentary on Season 1 and Comic Con panel here:

I love this show....I love Sarah Connor....and yes....I like her in the role better than Linda Hamilton. I said that at work a while ago and nearly got stoned to death by my co-workers. Sheeeeeeeesh!

Since when did not thinking Linda Hamilton was the be all and end all of Sarah Connor earn a stapler to the head? I exaggerate slighty, but you get my drift.

I'm wondering if last week's casualty was the first of many or if they were teasing us at Comic Con?

The producer leaned into the microphone and in a deep voice intoned, 'someone will die' and a couple of cast members were like, 'please don't fire me. I promise to remember my lines' or 'I swear I'll remember my cues' It was implied that it would be a main character and then soon after a 'family squabble' was touched upon when the subject of Lena's tattoos came up. Made me think SHE was the one who was getting killed off.

They can kill anyone off... time travel is pivotal to the plot so they can always reboot at just about any time in John's timeline. :P

Honestly, my family quit watching it (and I don't have a TV) so I go to Fox.com and watch it on Tuesdays. Any show that I like to watch, if it is on their website I watch it so that it counts as viewings of the show. Now, if only I could get ALL of my American friends to watch Pushing Daisies over and over and over again on their website, maybe they would order new episodes. And yes, MID season cliffhanger. The season isn't over but it's taking a break for Christmas and New Years. :) New eps in january.

Good isn't it!!!!! I've been watching it on dvd again and Summer Galu is just plain and simply Hot....

But there is some questions i do have that will hopefully be answered later... to many decisions that they have made and things that they have done that has altered the future and yet they still exist in our present time...
