Watched Spartacus today on the the ABC1 channel. The original 1960 version with Kirk Douglas in it.
Brilliant. Wish they still made movies like that these days.

Watched Escape from L.A. last night. Hadn't seen it in a long time. It's cheesy, but fun. 8)

Never heard of it.

Just googled it and did you mean the one with Sean Bean in it?

Yep! That's it! One may watch most of those from kind people on youtube, if you are at all curious. Sharpe's Gold is my favourite in the series. :)

The Gene Hackman one?
Yeah that is good! You know that when he was doing that car chase through the city, the director never had a permit for that? No stuntman and every crash and scream is real ands yes that really was Gene Hackman driving that car.

good film too...

Wached a comedy called Killers today with Mel and even i must admit they did a few things right with this one. The blonde chick in it Katherine Heigl (sp) was soooo hot in it! Of course she had big boobs to go with that blonde hair.. always a bonus.
Mel loved it of course.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4.
Did well to bring back the humour like the first one and it was pretty good.
Penelope Cruz doesn't get her gear off in this but damn she still looks hot.
They did have their usual little snippet at the end that of course leaves it wide open for number 5.
If you liked the first one then this one is for you. 9/10.

Gonna go see that in another week or two, as I've seen every Pirates of C. movie in the theatre.

What!

They must have already drank it all.

Earlier this evening I watched, P. of the C. Dead Man's Chest. It was good for releasing the evening's tensions.

Valley of the Dolls.
I highly recommend it if you're going through a bad time in your life because it will seem better than what these women are going through. Generally speaking that is.

Saw the new version of True Grit. It was very good and I don't like westerns.

SPOILERS:
I couldn't watch the sad horse part, as I could tell what was coming, so I went into the kitchen to pour myself a beverage. Maybe it's strange but I can watch all sorts of bad things happen to people in movies and it doesn't bother me a bit, just don't have an animal in peril. That's why I didn't watch Legend, because I know that the dog dies in it.
