Call of Duty

Here's the place to discuss games with a science fiction or fantasy theme – board games, card games, LARPs, RPGs, online games, PC games, and games played on systems such as PlayStation, Wii, Xbox, etc.

Call of Duty

New postby Telkesh » Wed May 07, 2008 8:34 pm

Whenever I'm bored, or stressed, or just feeling liek shooting something I load this game up.
It's a good way to relax for me, and is the kind of game that I can just pop open and play for 10 minutes. No need to delve into a storyline, just a good old 'Spray and Prey' style game.

Does anyone else (Preferably on the Australian servers) Play this game?

Also, within the games are clans. Usually a group of people who get together and play, but most of the time it's just one guy who wanted to stick a cool Abbreviation in front of his name.
I want to put -USGS- as my tag. But I'm afraid the U.S. Geological Survey will try to sue us more ;)

So, UberSci be our Clan/Guild/ etc tags in multiplayer games?

If So, I will look into starting an UberSci guild at WOW.

Oooh, we can build a OmniverseGuild... one in wich we build a guild page that includes all the mmorpgs we play as teams... one stop ....

mwahahaha

My brother originally had Call of Duty 4. He kept going on about how good it was so i stole it from him. it's his own fault.

See, the best thing is online you can have multiple accounts on the one CD key. So I have my Telkesh account and he has his. We can play on different computers, just not at the same time.

That is a cool idea Raven...like the sound of it. We should have a UberSci widget or app to run on facebook.

We can slowly takeover the world.

Lol! single player is fun enough.
wait until you play multi-player.

(On a fun side note both me and my brother play multiplayer on the same account ID with no issues)

If you play multiplayer let me know what id you use. I'll come shoot you one day.

I'm not sure. First time I played was on a GeForce 6200. so I could barely see the course, lol.
But I've had multiplayer training, so I'll give it a shot today.

amended: Your brother is good. With my accuracy bonus the best I got was around 18.5

Captain Nemo can shoot 18 out of 20 moving targets with a carnival rifle. I saw it myself. I guess that wouldn't help though, huh?

I ran it about 30 times using three different weapons until I managed to get that. I was hoping to beat the 15.1 mark. But atleast I beat your brother (And mine, too!).

Ok. So I have CoD 5 now (And changed thew title here) but I was a little disappointed. I don't think I like the older guns plus that scene when you're in the fountain was ripped off from Enemy at the gate. I kind of stopped playing it not long after.

But more news on the CoD4 front: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 should be out soon, and this one I am going to get straight away (especially if i can get the pack with the night vision goggles in it). I love the more modern first person games, so this one should hold my attention well :)
