The Foe of Barnabas Collins by Marilyn Ross I mentioned on the 10th. It is part of a Dark Shadows book series. They can be hard to find singly, usually you see lots of them on ebay or whatever and they want tons of money for them.

Kinda funny. I have about 25 pages left to read in the aforementioned book and I shall be finishing it on my last night here in the old apartment. Sunday the compooper, the bed, and the last of the boxes go to the new place. if all goes as planned.
Yes, I am typing on a desk top that is sitting on the floor. :D

Captain Nemo wanted me to tell all that he just finished Soul Hunter from the Warhammer 40,000 series. It was very dark and incredibly cool and he is about to finish, in the Horus Heresey series, A Thousand Sons, All is Dust. Metaphysically cool. He recommends both most highly.

I read It's for You Snoopy by the wonderfully talented Charles M. Schultz earlier today. Just started Changes, by Jim Butcher. :D

me? i'm reading Jim Butcher again. but from the Codex Alera. The last one called First Lord's Fury.
Funnily enough this entire series is all about a bet. Jim was told he couldn't make a story about the lost roman legion and Pokèmon.
And being the literally brilliant genius that he is.... Well of course it was going to be good. It's Jim!

I have a layover on the way up and the sister that I'll be staying with goes to bed early by my standards. (11pm) so me and the coyotes will have late nights on the deck overlooking the soybean fields.

Legion by Dan Abnett.
Tis a Warhammer 40,000 Horus Heresy, my first venture into the series and at about 65 pages it has so far proved quite interesting.

It isn't. Haven't had much time to read lately, so I haven't been able to crack open that book in weeks now. And it was reading so well. (sigh)

That is an excellent excuse. You'll have to find the Doctor Who books one day. I don't have a good excuse, really.

Oh dear!
(making notes to self)
Most of the classic stories are on Target books, but they are all out of print. Sometimes one may find a few at used books stores here and Amazon is a great source for them. There are some very nice ones out with characters from the new series with stories that are not on television, just made for the novels.
Just remembered, if you can find any BBC ones that were out in the late 90's, they have stories that are exclusive to the books with classic characters. They are VERY hard to find and all out of print. I have 2 and that's only because I bought them when they were new. Went to get more later and they had all been pulled. Don't know why really, the stories are great. Especially one called the Face Eater aka Flesh Eater. Rather scary and a riveting tale.
